Studios/Jim Henson production, Muppet King ArthurBrigid Alverson and Johanna Draper-Carlson offer links and commentary on the Bleach plagiarism scandalDavid Welsh fancies a bit of the ultra-violence in his weekly license request columnDaniella Orihuela-Gruber notes that Tokyopop will be releasing Gakuen Alice on a more frequent schedule to help combat piracy… Melinda Beasi sings the praises of One Fine Day… and Danielle Leigh, Michelle Smith, and Melinda Beasi post a new installment of The NANA Project at Comics Should Be Good. The focus of this week’s roundtable: “the harsh world of fame.”

I still have a few manga/comics in search of a new home. If interested, please leave me a comment below. (US addresses only, 18+ only, please.) The titles are:

  • Devil, No. 1
  • Eagle: Making of… President, Nos. 1-2*
  • Gestalt, Vol. 3
  • Sorcerer Hunters, Vol. 4

* Note these are the 100-page issues, not the 500+ page omnibus editions.

  • Thank you for the link!

  • Melinda and Daniella, you’re very welcome! Always happy to highlight the good stuff!

  • So, no-one wants Gestalt 3? I’ll take it them. What should I do?

  • JRB: You don’t need to do anything — I’ll send you an email to confirm your mailing address, then mail you the book on Monday or Tuesday.
